The Scrum Master will facilitate and ensure the effective implementation of Agile practices, fostering a collaborative and productive environment for a federal client's operations. As a crucial member of our team, the Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in guiding teams through Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS184, T4, Band 7
Project Specific Responsibilities: - Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement
- Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Facilitate collaboration and communication between development, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment on project goals and seamless integration of deliverables
- Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Monitor Progress: Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability
- Promote Agile Principles: Advocate for Agile values and principles within the organization, driving adoption and adherence to Agile methodologies
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality
Minimum Requirements
TCS184, T4, Band 7
Project Minimum Requirements:
- Per contract requirements candidate must possess an Active Secret clearance
- Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship
- This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime
- Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule
- Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Annapolis Junction, MD, and be available to work onsite at the customer's discretion
- This includes being on-site during the transition period
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 7 + years of related experience
- Related experience supporting IT programs as a Scrum Master

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
