Position Description
• Responsible for the upkeep of assigned equipment and truck
• Ensuring that material is delivered on time
• Responsible for double checking that load is secure, and truck and cargo is in a safe condition for transport
• Will offer field training for drivers with CDL-B
Position Requirements
• Successful pre-employment background check for LMC and all military bases is required
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required
• Minimum 3 years of CDL class B driving experience
• 10-Year DMV Report required for driving company vehicles
Physical Requirements
• Work involves sitting, walking or standing for extended periods of time in various adverse weather conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and get into truck with minimal assistance
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and/or carry weights of five to fifty pounds
• Requires the ability of speaking and/or signaling people to convey or exchange information
• Must have minimal levels of eye/hand/foot coordination
• Numerical Aptitude
• Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; adding and subtracting totals; multiplying and dividing.
