We are searching for an energetic and caring Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our amazing team of clinicians that serves the Plymouth residential area of Massachusetts. This Part-Time position offers a visit rate of $32/visit in addition to the benefits listed below.

In this role, you will collaborate with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to implement personalized treatment plans, providing compassionate care that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families. Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Assist in implementing speech and language treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in patients' homes to improve communication skills, swallowing, and other related disorders.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations and changes to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, including patient responses and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Requirements:
  • Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required.
  • Candidates must have MA Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and electronic health records.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
  • CPR certification and knowledge of first aid procedures.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
