POSITION SUMMARY

The Receptionist's job is to perform clerical tasks and provide customer service in an office setting. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

  1. Answers phone calls and emails from customers, dealers, and employees to assist with requests and answer questions.

  2. Greets visitors in a friendly professional manner.

  3. Tracks and schedules orders (i.e. clothing, food, etc.)

  4. Manages company vehicles and coordinates maintenance to ensure they are available and in good working condition.

  5. Receives, distributes, and sends outgoing mail and schedules UPS and FedEx shipments.

  6. Orders and maintains adequate levels of office supplies, while maintaining cost effectiveness.

  7. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Customer Service experience preferred.

  • Able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, employees, vendors, and the public.
  • Able to effectively always communicate with tact and diplomacy to develop relationships with internal and external contacts to provide excellent customer service and conflict management.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including tact and diplomacy, which would be utilized during customer service, conflict management, development of relationships with internal and external contacts.

Math:

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer:

  • Able to perform simple tasks, such as creating an email and using basic commands. Use of Microsoft office suite (excel, word, etc.), and adobe for viewing prints.

  • Able to operate with discretion with information related to the company or employees.

  • Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
