We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Expert to join our dynamic team in Lake Zurich, IL. As a Powder Coat Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of finish and durability while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Perform regular machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Utilize shop math skills to calculate material requirements and project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
Preparation :Cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming parts
Application :Spraying on powder and monitoring the coating process to ensure proper coverage and adhesion
Inspection :Checking parts for defects during and after processing
Curing :Moving parts into and out of an oven to cure the surface
Quality assurance :Ensuring that the final product meets customer specifications
Maintenance :Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
