We are currently looking for a skilled, personable & professional Maintenance Technician to join our Hyde Park team! This team maintains a number of properties scattered throughout some of the most desired neighborhoods in Cincinnati! As a Maintenance Technician , you will respond to residential service requests, complete unit turnovers, and support our Field Technicians with grounds care and trash management. The Maintenance Technician position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm, except when on-call. The position is $18/hour and offers the incredible benefits listed below:

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving company vehicle to multiple sites daily
  • Responding to work orders in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Completing repairs in:
    • Basic plumbing
    • Light electrical
    • HVAC troubleshooting
    • Small appliances
  • Completing unit turnovers/make ready
  • Managing work orders on iphone app
  • Completing virtual and in-person training courses
  • Working independently, while being a collaborative team player
  • Provide superb customer service to residents, vendors, teammates, etc. 

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record
  • Minimum 1 year experience in: light plumbing, light electrical, HVAC trouble shooting, apartment turnovers/make ready, facilities maintenance, or similar field
  • Comfortable with hand tools
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation
  • Ability to meet physical requirements:
    • The position is considered to have moderate to heavy physical demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to climb up to nine feet on ladders, work in overhead structures, walk, stand, twist, stoop, bend, squat, and kneel at least 90% of the workday. The employee will occasionally be required to lift, carry and/or move in excess of 100 pounds and frequently be required to lift, carry and/or move in excess of 50 pounds during the normal course of a workday.
