Junior Financial Analyst for Madison Capital Group the Floridabased leading real estate investment and merchant banking firm (remote).

A broadbased knowledge of the real estate capital markets combined with its deep understanding and relationships within the Florida real estate and financial services industries provides its clients with comprehensive advice and guidance on an ongoing basis.

Your potential manager Tim Martorella is the founding principal of Madison Capital Group leading the firm since its inception in 1998. With over $8 billion in real estate transactions including $4 billion in multifamily and residential development Tim brings unmatched expertise to the companys operations. He also oversees Madison Capital Investors managing a diverse portfolio of real estate and private equity investments.

Now Tim and his team are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst with a strong desire to excel in commercial real estate and a willingness to contribute to various areas of the business. If youre eager to learn detailoriented and adaptable this is the opportunity for you!

What you will be doing:

• Preparing offering memorandums for real estate finance transactions or doing related exhibits in Excel or Word.

• Conduct basic internet research and update databases related to real estate finance transactions developers and investors with a focus on Florida and U.S.based markets.

• Support the team with financial and analytical tasks including prospect sourcing cold calls and email campaigns.

• Manage tasks involving databases basic marketing content creation and administrative support (e.g. transcribing Hubspot/Mailchimp and social media B2B).

• Assist with financial models underwriting models and other Excelbased tasks as needed.

• Actively participate in improving processes and taking the initiative to contribute new ideas.

Requirements:

• Ongoing/complete Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or Real Estate.

• Excellent English skills youll communicate with native English speakers so we expect you to have a minimum of an Advanced level and for sure we dont want to see or hear any mistakes.

• Analytical skills you can analyze structure and work with the financial data and come up with conclusions based on the information you receive.

• Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools; familiarity with MS 365 and Outlook is a plus.

• You are expected to demonstrate financial statement awareness such as working with Excel spreadsheets finance data software tools and financial modeling.

• Excellent attention to detail you should be the person who cares about every small detail while working with numbers.

• Adaptability & intelligence youll need to quickly adapt to work with various digital tools and new information.

• You are resilient smart outgoing optimistic and committed to success the company is proud of the environment and the culture they were able to create and would like a junior specialist to share these expectations.

• Proactiveness with a leadership mentality we expect you to be a person with many ideas not just an executor.

Not necessary but will be a plus:

• It would be nice to have an understanding of US culture specifics to efficiently communicate with clients.

• Understanding the commercial real estate industry would be your advantage.

• Previous work experience within the fields (real estate finance analytics) would be your advantage.

Working hours:

Youll need to adjust your schedule to have as many overlapping hours with Florida as possible so for example from 9 am to 5 pm Florida time would be ideal ( check the time difference here ) .

• Fulltime employment (8 working hours per day 5/2). For this vacancy we consider only senior lastyear students and recent graduates. We will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.
