Position description
Overview:
Provides human resources and employee relations support to various departments across Achieva. Utilizes experience and knowledge of applicable laws to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: management coaching, employee relations, recruiting, workers compensation, among other HR responsibilities. Seeks mentorship and support from other managers and employees as needed. Reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
The equivalent of a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field and 2 or more years of related HR experience. Excellent computer skills are required and HRIS experience is a must. Basic knowledge of employment laws is necessary. The ability to prioritize and organize multiple job tasks is essential. Some local travel is required to other Achieva locations. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Satisfactory FBI clearance is required.
