We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our team of experts and well established practice on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Job Description



In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the management of patients with diabetes and endocrine issues. Here’s what awaits you:

Engaging Practice Scope:

  • Diagnosing and treating disorders affecting hormone levels and endocrine glands.
  • Caring for patients with disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary gland adrenal gland, pancreas, testes, ovaries and growth hormone disorders.
  • Schedule: M-F , with shared call responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Medical degree, completion of medical residency.
  • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology
  • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
  • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
  •  Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
  • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
  • Demonstrates appropriate

    qualifications

    and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.

  • Pay Range: $272,586 to $331,007
  • Other Compensation (if applicable): Generous sign on Bonus $20-25K  or housing allowance of $50K towards the purchase of a home in the first year, generous relocation assistance up to 10K, sign on bonus, and a production bonus
